Deductions and Settlement Management Consultant

We are seeking a consultant with expertise in Deductions and Settlement Management to join our dynamic project team.

This role involves managing financial deductions, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring accurate settlement processes between our organization and trading partners.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process customer deductions, ensuring accurate coding and timely resolution.
• Investigate discrepancies and disputes in financial transactions, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Facilitate settlement processes, including payment reconciliations and adjustments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, sales, logistics) to address and resolve deduction issues.
• Develop and maintain reports on deduction trends, root causes, and resolution metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards during the settlement process.
• Travel to Seattle (30-40% onsite) for collaboration and on-ground support as required.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Deductions and Settlement Management or related financial roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle Financials, or other financial tools.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility to travel onsite to Seattle as per project requirements.
