Role Description:
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with mechanical experience to join our team in Albany, GA. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, disassemble, and repair various mechanical systems, including pumps
- Fabricate mechanical components with precision
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform root cause analysis
- Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets standards
- Collaborate with team members and project leads to meet production goals
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly, installation, and repair
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
- Experience in fabricating components and performing quality inspections
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator and team player
- Prior experience in industrial or mining environments is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification or vocational training is a plus
- Welding experience is highly desirable
